Terms of service
1. About these terms
These terms apply when an e-commerce agency or freelancer ("you") uses Scaleiko ("we", "us") to book sales calls with online store owners. They also cover use of this website. Questions about them can go to hello@scaleiko.com.
The service is for businesses only. By using it, you confirm you're acting for your business and not as a consumer.
2. Your criteria
Before we contact any store for you, we agree your ideal store criteria in writing, by email. These criteria decide which stores we contact and whether a call is billable. Changes to the criteria apply to calls booked after both sides have agreed the change in writing.
3. What counts as a billable call
A call is billable only when all of the following are true:
- the call was held;
- it lasted at least 15 minutes;
- it was with the owner or the marketing decision-maker of the store;
- the store matches your written criteria.
The following are not billed: no-shows, calls with the wrong person, and calls with stores outside your written criteria. If you think a call shouldn't be billed, tell us within 7 days of the call and we'll review it with you against the written criteria.
4. Prices
- Pilot: 3 held calls at £99 each.
- After the pilot: £150 per held call, or 10 held calls for £1,250.
- Founding clients: the first 5 clients keep a rate of £125 per held call for 12 months from the end of their pilot.
There is no retainer and no setup fee. Prices are in pounds sterling.
5. Billing and payment
We invoice after calls happen, and only for billable calls. For a 10 call pack, we invoice £1,250 once 10 billable calls have been held, or invoice any held calls at £125 each if the work ends before that. Invoices are due within 14 days.
6. What we don't promise
We don't promise a set number of calls, a timeframe for booking them, or that any call will lead to a sale. What we do promise is that you only pay for billable calls as defined in section 3.
7. Your part
- Give us accurate criteria and a way to book calls with you.
- Turn up to the calls we book, on time, and treat prospects professionally.
- Let us know promptly if a prospect is already your client or already in talks with you.
- Use the contact details we share only to follow up the conversation the prospect agreed to, and in line with data protection law.
8. Stopping
Either side can stop the work at any time by email. You pay only for billable calls held before that point, at the price that applied to them.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise, we aren't liable for lost profits, lost business or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
10. Personal information
How we handle personal information is explained in our privacy notice.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms. Changes won't affect calls already booked. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
